The importance of ECE in our Daily lives cannot be overstated. ECE innovations underpin our communication systems, making global connectivity possible, and they drive the development of consumer electronics, medical devices and autonomous vehicles, among others. ECE professionals are the Architects of the future, shaping how to interact with technology.

Departments

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year of 2001,with the vision to become a centre of excellence to provide quality education and produce innovative engineers to excel at National level. The present intake of the department is 60 students per Year.

The Department Laboratories a well equipped with highly configured Equipments and systems. The Department has well experienced and competent faculty in all specializations such as VLSI design, Applied Electronics, Communication Systems, Wireless communication, Embedded Systems and so on. They attend FDPs/workshops consistently to improve their technical knowledge and research skills.

The Department has signed MOU’s with Government and Private sectors for training the students to provide joint venture programs, project work, problems solving and Research & Development. Promotion of Academic – Industry interaction and English Language proficiency training is also provided to the students.

The department organizes various training programs with renowned expert trainers from different enterprises, to improve the verbal and aptitude skills of students so as to be easily hired by leading core and IT industries. The Department exceeds expectations with an outcome of 90% of students getting placed in various top companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Mindgraph Technologies, Salzar Electronics, Smart DV Pvt Ltd,. and so on.

The Undergraduates from this department have become professional engineers, employed both in core and software companies. As part of research, Under-Graduate students are encouraged to carry out their project in recent research fields across various areas of Electronics and Communication. Students also pursue higher Studies in leading Universities.

Vision

The department strives to impart high quality education that will produce highly competent, passionate and confident engineers who can meet the challenges of ever-changing Industrial requirements, research and global socio-economic needs.

Mission

M1 :To produce technocrats with competence in the practical art of engineering in their area of specialization.

M2 :To train them to use modern software design tools that will provide an in-depth understanding of the practical methods for the design, simulation, fabrication and testing of complex systems and their maintenance in the severest environment.

M3 :To have a strong foundation in theoretical concepts, complemented with practical training and to inculcate innovative skills, research aptitude, team-work, ethical practices in students so as to meet the expectations of industry as well as society

PEO's
