Mechatronics is the blending of mechanics, electronics, electrical, and computers to produce a well-rounded technician capable of handling the complex maintenance and operations tasks demanded by modern manufacturing, transportation, communication, and other industries. The modularization of electromechanical devices no longer requires in-depth specialization of a single field of study as more emphasis is placed on troubleshooting and replacement skills for maintenance and generalized knowledge of how systems work together for operations and purchasing and planning

Department of Mechatronics Engineering strives for increasing the knowledge, enhancing the critical thinking, motivating innovative projects and developing entrepreneurial skill. We impart knowledge through a highly competent faculty with technical expertise and industrial exposure. Our Laboratories have been very well established to the norms of university and also motivate students to do projects related to automation, robotics and societal development.

Now a day’s industries are having lot of changes because of technological developments and the same creates better environment to manufactured components. CNC machining is one of the widely accepted machining methods, which provides lesser manufacturing lead-time and accuracy to the components. Therefore studying the fundamentals, construction details and other controls are very much essential for the Mechatronics engineering students.
