Dr. K. A. Chinnaraju has a rich academic knowledge and teaching experience of more than 25 years. He has guided several doctoral and M. Phil Scholars in Management.
He is an Examiner and Chairperson of academic bodies of several Universities and Autonomous Colleges in India. He is the University Nominee to the College Committee of various colleges.
He is nominated as Academic Council member in various colleges and universities. He is nominated as Planning Board member in Periyar University, Planning Board member in Bharathiar University, Planning and Managing Board member in St.Peter’s University. He is nominated as Syndicate member of various universities and colleges. He is the recipient of Rashtria Ratan award by Global Economic Council, New Delhi.
He has served as a resource person for various institutes in higher education, especially in re-designing and restructuring of curriculum, besides developing innovative teaching/ learning methods in Management.
He is the secretary of Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust and actively involves himself in successful running of all the institutions under the trust viz., Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology, Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, School of Architecture- Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Dr. K. Manikanda Subramanian is the distinguished Principal of the Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET). With over 27 years of experience in engineering education and industrial practice, Dr. Manikanda Subramanian is dedicated to fostering an environment that promotes innovation, research, and holistic development among students.
He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, and has since made significant contributions to academia and industry. His extensive research in Production Engineering and Mechanical Metallurgy has earned him recognition in various national and international forums. Dr. Manikanda Subramanian is also an active member of several professional bodies, such as ISTE and ISME, where he contributes to advancements in engineering education. Dr. Manikanda Subramanian believes in empowering students through practical learning experiences, opening doors to successful placement opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures for graduates. As an inspiring educator, Dr. Manikanda Subramanian is committed to nurturing the next generation of engineers. He emphasizes character-building and ethical practices, ensuring that students excel in their academic pursuits and emerge as responsible, socially aware citizens. Outside his administrative duties, Dr. Manikanda Subramanian enjoys mentoring young scholars and participating in community outreach programs promoting technical education and awareness. Dr. Kalamani K is a seasoned academic and researcher with over 31 years of experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Currently serving as a Dean - Academics at Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET), she has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic administration.
She earned her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1991, graduating with first-class honors. She completed her M.E. in Communication Systems in 2007 from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, securing distinction. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Communication and Networking in 2013 by Anna University.
Her professional career began as a Senior Lecturer at Nanjiah Lingammal Polytechnic College, where she served for nearly 12 years. She then joined Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology as a Lecturer, honing her teaching skills for three years. In 2007, she transitioned to Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology as an Assistant Professor and was later promoted to Professor in 2013. Over her tenure, she has accumulated vast experience in academia, totaling more than three decades.
Her expertise lies in communication systems, networking, and advanced electronics. She is known for her commitment to academic excellence and her ability to mentor students effectively. Her contributions include curriculum design, implementation of innovative teaching methodologies, and fostering research initiatives within her department.
In addition to her academic roles, she is actively involved in various professional bodies and contributes to technical research. Her community engagement and dedication to the academic growth of students highlight her passion for education and research.
